Mike Miller: (18/10/98) A surprisingly large pub given that it's rather hidden away, this provided a very pleasant end to an evening of visiting pubs. Very high ceiling with various scary things suspended, including a large man figure on a bicycle! Reasonable music, quite a good range of beers (including good old Tiger) and generally a good place.

Donald Applegate: (03/09/98) The Sally is one of the best pubs in the Mill Road area, good juke box, 4 TVs, 8 real ales and a cosmopolitan crowd ranging from students, locals, passing trade, youth hostel types and tourists. I recommend it to anyone.
