The Tap And Spile

(formerly The Mill)

Mike Miller: A small homely pub with lots of different beers available. The choice is rather too confusing - I mistakenly ordered a cider! Lots of Cambridge University sporting memorabilia lines the walls. You can go outside and sit on a large grassy expanse next to the Cam if the weather is fine. I don't feel I've experienced it at it's best yet; another trip is required.

Richard Kastein: A riverside pub next to The Anchor. Normally there's nowhere to sit down inside so best to visit in the summer when you can go outside and drink. A favourite for celebrating the end of your exams.

Rating : 6

Ben Chalmers: (23/11/98) Worth noting that this is the only pub I have ever had supervisions in, the Tap and Spile serves good beers, but they tend to be expensive. There is no doubting that this is a tourist pub, serving the people who sit out by the Cam in the summer.
